Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television series The Office, for which she was awarded the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress as well as Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by the Ensemble Comedy.
Her mother, Anne played in plays at church while she was a kid, which instilled a love of performance and theater in Jenna. Jenna was attracted by her mother's performance in church at the time she started her journey.
She is a trained actress who returned to theater after The Office. She starred as Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy. Her role was later reprised in the world premiere of Steve Martin's new show Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking show at the Old Globe Theatre.
In October of 2019, Fischer and The Office actor and friend Angela Kinsey launched the podcast Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. It has grown to become wildly popular, landing within the Top Ten globally every week and registering more than 200 million downloads over the first two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
She's published two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide in which she describes her path to Hollywood as a working actor and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends that Were There an account of the most memorable relationship they shared and their time in The Office.
