Jennifer Garner was born on April 17, 1972, in Houston, Texas but was raised to be raised in Charleston, West Virginia. Her dad, William John Garner, worked as a chemical engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann was a teacher at the local school. In order to continue in the footsteps of her father she graduated as a chemical engineer.
