Gerina-Piller

She was born on 29 March 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza is her birth name. Gerina Stevenson has Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Stevenson is of Mexican roots, yet is American as a national. At a very young age the desire for her to be involved in sports was evident. Gerina was a golfer for the first time at age 15. Gerina graduated from high school through Goddard High School. While she was in high school, she won at the New Mexico state golf tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player who competed at the state level. She was enrolled at Texas's University of Texas, Texas in the academic year. During the senior period of her career she was the winner of every event in which she competed. During undergraduate studies she was awarded the title that included Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Years.
