Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28th, 1967 at Atlanta. The fourth generation of the Roberts generation living in Atlanta, beginning with her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. She inherited her father's interest in theatre from an early stage. When he was an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed at several shows in Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he got played as a soldier in a production with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and then in 1956 their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they were discharged from the air force and Walter started his education at Tulane University. Walter began working with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the couple moved into Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. The following year they started the Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for a period of six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also known as Julie) throughout this time.
